Action takers take ACTION This type of person has done their research into the business opportunities field and narrowed down the selection to the one they can relate to and will engage in. They are aware of the company history, pay plans, and progression path. They will know what work they will have to do to reach each level and appreciate there will be time and advertising costs to factor in.

They will also understand that it will be their business and only they can put the work in and be an action taker to gain success!

This person has passion and drive. A solid decision has been made that failure is not an option. They have studied and understand the back office and training for the business. They set down short, intermediate and ong term plans and goals – and then commence to take massive action to carry out those plans and achieve those goals.

There will be disappointments when things don’t seem to happening, setbacks and distractions set in front of them, but they will overcome all these to stay on track to reach each goal.

While the total journey may realistically take a few years, each smaller goal achieved will move them closer to the final goal of personal and financial freedom.

fit in These days everyone is trying to ‘ Fit In ‘. With the crowd or with what seems to be the most appealing to one’s own belief. From what I see with my two witnesses (my eyes) is all I will speak on. Most people fear to be themselves, because they think they will not ’ Fit In ‘ with society. With the modern technology growth, in such a rapid pace that it is. We all lack the knowledge of good old-fashioned simplicity. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

We of the world look for the fastest, most convenient way to ’ Fit In ‘ with society. From the fashion industry, industrial businesses, computer software, music, travel, to household appliances and communications we are advancing daily. “What’s in today will be out tomorrow”. What ever happened to enjoying life for the simple things?

“Fitting In” with society’s modern technological growth will be impossible due to the record-breaking evolutionary expansion of the human mind itself. On another note, we here are people trying to ’ Fit In ‘ on a political point of view. This particular subject is rather amusing because they are trying so hard to fit in. As a person on a political stage, they are hanging from invisible strings. These strings are controlled by polls of society’s member’s views on issues. The one with the highest percentage is the bandwagon they tend to jump on to ’ Fit In ‘ with the majority. Because we all know, “the majority rules”.

So “Fitting In” is sometimes just for convenience, to advance one’s self to be politically correct. This form of politically fitting in is really nothing new. In the end the truth is always revealed — that it was all a devious plot to gain political fame. This brings be to fashion, music, and movies. I have a little more respect for their forms of business because they create style and entertainment.

People relate to images and “fit them in” to their own lifestyles. These industries use the imagery to create style for the public. Fitting in with society today is about self-image, idolizing, and expression through choices we make. I will use rock & roll and rap music as prime examples of how lifestyle, image, and fitting in work together.

Music in general has always been a way to express emotions or experiences in a way that other people can relate to. Most people thought these new forms of music wouldn’t last. Those same people now find themselves relating to this music because it is everywhere. In the movies, on T.V. in their homes; now they are relating just to fit in. Fashion only capitalizes on these images and produces what the public is demanding (which is the image that society relates to).

In the end, “Fitting In” could be summed up in a few simple words: morals, self-image, and understanding. Sometimes fitting in with the crowd is not the best choice. Fitting in is being comfortable with yourself and understanding what you represent as a person. Then choose how to express yourself in simple ways and control what fits in to your lifestyle.

As much as we want to live by ourselves in our own way, there are still laws and regulations both on land and above that need to be followed. Much as I’ve tried over the years, motivation courses and events have had little obvious effect on me.

In fact, in his book 7 Strategies For Wealth & Happiness, he says himself..”most who read these pages won’t persist in setting and refining their goals. Why? Because it’s time consuming, thought demanding work.”

I bought and listened all through Tony Robbins Personal Power II^R

$300 to put me to sleep at night..

The nearest thing that mildly raised a flicker was Jack Zufelt’s programs “How to Use the Conquering Force Within You” (see my post Successful demands the power of a Core Desire )

Perhaps my long, engineering background wants me to see scientific reasoning rather than mental readjustment?

I’ve been to big meetings where the leaders get up on stage and fire you up to go and sell more so you can be up on stage with them to get where they are… I’ve sat in the Ferrari with my millionaire upline… even travelled to an International Event held in a European football stadium there were so many.

After the initial small surge of excitement and raring to go and overcome any problems – a day or so after it was still down to me to just get on with it and knuckle down to generate my own targets, paths and future.

Perhaps it’s me. I don’t crave riches and fame – just the financial freedom to live my live in comfort and freedom.

The Personal Motivation Industry is a Mystical Scam

Nothing beats a good rah-rah meeting, does it?

The handsome success-guru commands the stage from on high, delivering measured doses of his or her own person success narcotic. Each dose is delivered with more enthusiasm than the last and the crowd is whipped into a frenzy of unthinking excitement.

It’s an interesting phenomenon to experience first-hand, because it feels as if something profound is happening.

The experience of it is amazing.

Of course the feeling doesn’t last.
How can it?
We are a curious mixture of the emotional and the rational.

In the short term, the emotional wins over the rational every time.
But emotion doesn’t pay the bills, unless you’re a personal motivation guru of course.

This gets to the heart of the issue I have with the personal motivation industry.

It’s neither possible nor healthy to maintain an emotional high 24/7.

Life is full of ups and downs, and ignoring the downs isn’t ultimately helpful. For example, going through the process of grief is extremely important for one’s emotional well-being.

I think the leading proponents of the personal motivation industry know full well that most people will never achieve the levels of success they use to entice in the next batch of punters. Yet each of these self-appointed motivational gurus continues to peddle his or her particular formula for success.

During the meeting each guru delivers the appropriate emotional high and tells his/her audience they’re experienced transformation and can now be successful. Yet from a biochemical perspective – the experience is no different to that of an exciting football game.

Or skydiving.

Or even being very afraid.

In other words, an emotional high is not evidence of transformation. Or in fact anything useful in terms of achieving personal success. That’s why I believe these large meetings where thousands flock to see and hear the likes of Tony Robins are completely worthless in terms of genuine achievement.

There is Only ONE Way to be Successful.

A person must set a goal and achieve it.

It’s not necessary to whip yourself up into an incoherant freezy, buy crystals, tap your palms, get hypnotised or mumble some ridiculous mantra like a bronze-age mystic.

You and I live in the 21st Century.
A world built entirely by Science (the single best invention in history).

I urge anybody caught up in a world of mystical nonsense (spouted by the likes of money-grabbing charlatan ****** ******) to forget all about it. There is no cheese to be had at the end of that tunnel. Well, there is for ****** and his cronies of course.

They’re doing very well out of otherwise sensible people who should know better.

It’s time to grow up and leave such childish notions behind.
You and I have one life, and it works according to a well-known set of physical principles.

There is no room for mysticism, which doesn’t work at all.

Forget about following gurus, politicians and mystics.

They’re only after your money.

Instead, embrace the thrilling truth. Because if you’re lucky enough to live in a Western Country, you live in a golden age where it’s possible to control your own destiny.

A world in which you can do this…

Set a goal and then achieve it.
Start small and get more ambitious.
Make goal ACHIEVEMENT your habitual way of being.

That’s how to be successful.

No thousand-person meetings or emotional frenzies required.
